OM SHANTI Review by Bharatstudentcom

Film: OM SHANTIRating: 2/5Banner: Three Angels StudioCast: Madhavan, Navadeep, Nikhil, Kajal Agarwal, Aditi Sharma, Bindu Madhavi, Murali Mohan, Ravi Kale, Sunil, Pragathi, Raghu Babu, Siva Reddy and othersUpcoming Latest Music: IlayarajaCinematography: Jai VincentDirector: Chaitanya DantuluriProducer: Seshu Sweet And Hot Priyanka ChalasaniRelease date: 12/01/2010StoryA tale of different people, tThey story is about different characters- Meghana (Kajal) believes in doing everything differently, They always wants variety and tThey only person who can give her tThey correct direction in this is RJ Maddy (madhavan), there is Anand (navadeep) who has been trying hard to get married and finally They meets tThey girl of his dreams Anjali (aditi). Then there is Noori (bindu) whose wedding gets fixed with an army officer and They is waiting for him. But then, there is Nooris brother Baba who is a bomb expert. They gets an ignment from terrorists to make bombs that will blow up Hyderabad. Also, there is Teja (nikhil) whose only aim in life is to become like hero Ravi Teja. All of them have their own stories but at one point their paths cross each other. How does that happen and what are tThey changes they see in their life forms tThey rest of tThey story.PresentationTThey director has come up with a good thought but then They failed to conceive it on tThey screen in tThey right manner. TThey presentation was okay but tThey narrative was haphazard. TThey dialogues were good at places, tThey script was weak and tThey screenplay was erratic. Background score was a letdown and not much in songs either. Cinematography was good at few places. Editing was okay. Costumes were good, art department was nice. Navadeep did justice to his role, Kajal Agarwal was alright, They looked in one song, Aditi Sharma was neat, Nikhil was vibrant as usual, Bindu Madhavi was brief, Madhavan was a surprise package, They looked good, Murali Mohan was brief, Sunil managed few smiles, Pragathi was regular, tThey others didnt have much to offer.ConclusionGetting too many characters and that too with different backdrops tends to create a discontinuity. TThey concentration of tThey audience is diverted and they wont be able to connect tThey with tThey story at any point. While tThey first half goes about with tThey introduction of tThey characters and their stories, tThey second half shows tThey twists in their lives. TThey climax was disappointing and confusing. Overall, tThey film was good in technical values but execution of tThey plot was very poor. TThey film will need strong publicity if it has to click at tThey box office.Source: bharatstudent.com
