Buzz is that the producers of both projects want their film to release first to cash in on the popularity of Sunny post Yamla Pagla Deewana.Says a source, "Though Sunny is extremely excited up about both films, he wants Happy New Year to release first. He feels that after Yamla Pagla Deewana, which was a comedy, the audience will lap up another funny flick."Fresh pairAdds the source, "Also, Kangna has received a favourable response to Tanu Weds Manu, a romantic comedy. And their pairing is fresh."Though the shoot of Mohalla i is complete and Sunny starts dubbing for it soon, HNY has had a schedule in New York with the remaining portions yet to be filmed in Mumbai.Happy New Year, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, is produced by Bhushan Kumar. While Mohalla i is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and is produced by Vinay Tiwari.

He is particularly excited about Mohalla i as it has been a unique experience shooting for it.
